Description:

Drafting, fabrication, & delivery of two sculptural, timber landscape elements. 8×12″ fir timbers of varying lengths stacked in several layers form two seating & planter structures along the ground floor of the building. The timbers are supported by stainless steel assemblies at the base and bolted together continuously from top to bottom with galvanized steel rods. The northern section features four layers of timbers while the southern section features six layers with two “bench” backs. The bench backs assembled from two timbers with continuous carriage bolts and a galvanized steel support plate. All timbers finished with one coat of clear oil.

Special thanks to the team at Cascade Joinery for their help with all the timber.
