Staircase with two landings from 17th floor to 18th floor. Stringers and landing frame constructed from rectangular steel tube. Tread plates press-broken from 1/4″ steel plate. Modular staircase design: transported to the job-site on a single flat-bed truck and lifted to the 17th floor via elevator. Staircase assembled and bolted together on-site. Wooden treads and landing floor planks from 1″ thick reclaimed white oak, refinished with clear oil and installed on-site. Blackened steel guardrail and handrails with stainless steel cables.
